Terms of use
Last updated 10 October 2026.
These terms govern your use of worldgdp.org, its pages, charts, data and any programmatic access we provide (together, the "Service"). By using the Service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.
1. Who we are
The Service is published by the person identified in the legal notice ("we", "us").
2. Ownership
The nowcasts, ranges, attributions, aggregates, track-record statistics, charts, maps, text, design, software, models and methods of the Service, and the database formed by them, are our property and are protected by copyright, database rights (including the sui generis right of the database maker) and other intellectual property laws. Except as expressly allowed below, no right or licence is granted to you.
Underlying source data published by statistics offices, central banks and international organisations remain the property of their publishers and are subject to their own terms.
3. What you may do
- View the Service and use it for your own information, research, teaching and internal decision-making, including professional use.
- Quote or show individual figures or charts in articles, reports, presentations, research notes and social media posts, in reasonable quantities, with the attribution "Source: worldgdp.org" and, online, a link to the relevant page.
- Access data programmatically only through the official interfaces we provide (such as our MCP server), within their published limits.
4. What you may not do
- Scrape, crawl, harvest or systematically download the Service or its data files, or extract a substantial part of the database, by any automated or manual means, other than through the official interfaces.
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense or republish the data as a dataset, feed, API, index or competing service, or incorporate it into a commercial data product, without our prior written permission.
- Use the Service or its data to train, fine-tune or evaluate machine-learning models, other than an AI assistant retrieving figures through the official interfaces to answer a user's question.
- Reverse-engineer, copy or reproduce the models or methods to offer an equivalent service, or present our figures as your own.
- Remove attributions, or frame or mirror the Service.
- Interfere with the Service, circumvent rate limits or access controls, or use it in breach of law.
For licensing or redistribution, contact us using the details in the legal notice.
5. Not advice
The Service provides statistical model estimates for general information. It is not investment, financial, legal, tax or any other advice, nor a recommendation or solicitation to buy or sell any financial instrument. Nowcasts are not official statistics and can differ materially from official figures. You are solely responsible for decisions you make using the Service.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided free of charge, "as is" and "as available". We do not warrant that it is accurate, complete, timely, uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change, suspend or withdraw any part of it at any time without notice.
7. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service, including trading or investment losses, loss of profit, data or opportunity. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
8. Third-party links
The Service links to third-party websites, including one affiliate link (Koyfin) for which we may receive a commission if you subscribe. We do not control and are not responsible for third-party sites.
9. Changes and termination
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use means acceptance. We may restrict or end access for anyone who breaches them.
10. Law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by French law. Subject to any mandatory consumer rules giving you the right to sue in your country of residence, the courts of Paris, France have exclusive jurisdiction.
